Moving on with the Watsons this week - after recapping a bit, we will get back into the story with chapter 7.  What will be next for Byron?  How much more will Momma and Dad tolerate?  

REDEC assignments were handed in last week and we will evaluate them this week.  Did you include all required parts?  Did you explain with text support?  Did you ensure the overall question was answered throughout?  We're going to go through our responses piece by piece to see where we still need work.  Later this week, we'll try it again with a new question.

Wednesday is Job Shadow day in the middle school; let's make sure we show our guest what a great class we are!

***First AR quiz is due December 1st.

Keep reading!!  Reader's workshop requirements have been explained and all due dates are posted in the classroom.  Be sure to keep possible themes in mind as you read, since your project will center around theme.  You are going to need at least 4 scenes/events from the story to prove your theme.
